It came to our attention that although it is not legislation to require both carbon monoxide alarms and fire extinguishers, we have seen some alarming evidence in some properties which would cause some concern to the property owners.

Bord Gais and RTE's Duncan Stewart constantly advise the importance of having a carbon monoxide alarm in your property. Carbon Monoxide as you know is a “silent killer”. Symptoms are drowsiness, headache and nausea which can sometimes be mistaken for flu like symptoms.
